- Jan. 23, 6:56 PM. From the time of this snapshot, I speculate that this relatively fresh specimen was probably eaten as a late afternoon snack, possibly in the Civic Center area, where there are lots of busy people on the go.

- Spotted Saturday, Jan 25, at 2:41 PM, either in the Mission or in Oakland. Its unnatural shape suggests that this peel was dropped by a passing cyclist with little regard for sharing the road with pedestrians!
