Pioneers heading west had to make their way across thousands of miles of dangerous terrain. Mountain men were knowledgeable guides, and often provided light entertainment along the way.
Traveling was rough on everyone.
Despite extreme hardship, pioneers were surrounded by beautiful scenery, and always enjoyed their dinner under the stars.
My ancestors were pioneers!! Craggy and intrepid! Thanks for this.
