Although it’s not a slipping hazard, this peel should be avoided at all costs. It appears to have crawled up the windshield of a Prius!

It may not be a banana. It may be an evolving bivalve attempting to escape from a swamp.

That would certainly be an interesting evolutionary path! Bivalves are not usually known for being adventurous, but if you’re right, then this one has really come out of its shell.
